Growing Property & Casualty firm recently listed as the 5th

Business. This company delivers a broad range of property and
casualty insurance products and services through an extensive
network of wholesale and retail brokers and agents.
The major responsibilities of the Program Accountant is: to manage
the premiums and losses for the Specialty business segment and to
provide General Ledger analysis at the direction of the Program
Accounting Manager.
Specific Responsibility:
- For assigned programs ensure timely receipt. of funds and
accurate reporting from Program Managers and Third Party
Administrators.
- Prepare and reconcile quarterly balance sheet and income
statement accounts related to specialty business.
- Application of premium receipts and loss disbursements in
general ledger.
- Prepare schedules of premiums and losses at program and
company level for financial reporting requirements.
- Prepare and distribute statements of account for reinsurance
applicable to assigned programs.
- Assist with preparing and reconciling all general ledger
account roll forwards-receivables and payables.
- Prepare SOX documentation as needed.
- Assist in special projects.
